1. The agreement
These Terms form an agreement between you and Herman Halvorsrud Hansen when you create an account, use Paidward or purchase a subscription. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Paidward for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
2. What Paidward provides
Paidward is a software service that helps founders identify opportunities, collect market evidence, shape offers, manage early sales activity and work toward a first paying customer. Features may include AI-generated analysis and recommendations.
Paidward is a decision-support and workflow tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment or other regulated professional advice, and it does not guarantee revenue, customers or business success.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- Use only your own account and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
- Do not enter data you lack the right to use or share.
4. Free and paid plans
The Free plan includes the features and limits shown in Paidward. Paidward Pro currently costs €19 per month or €190 per year unless checkout shows another price. Checkout displays the total price, billing interval and any applicable taxes before payment.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing interval until canceled. You can cancel future renewal through the Stripe billing portal available from Paidward. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access remains available until then unless law requires another result.
We may change future pricing with reasonable advance notice. A price change applies no earlier than your next renewal after the notice period, subject to applicable law.
5. Withdrawal, refunds and cancellation
If you are a consumer and mandatory law gives you a right to withdraw from an online service contract, you may exercise that right within the applicable period, normally 14 days from the contract date. Visit the withdrawal page for a simple way to notify us. We will provide any refund required by law.
The legal right of withdrawal is separate from canceling future automatic renewal. Outside mandatory refund rights, fees already paid are non-refundable unless checkout or a written offer expressly says otherwise.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you enter into Paidward. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service, comply with law and follow your instructions.
You are responsible for ensuring that your customer, prospect and business data is collected and used lawfully. Avoid entering unnecessary personal or confidential information.
7. AI output
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your situation. Review it independently before using it, especially for decisions affecting customers, finances, contracts or legal obligations. You remain responsible for decisions and actions taken from AI output.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Paidward unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm others;
- attempt to bypass access limits, probe security, disrupt the service or access another user's data;
- upload malware or content that infringes rights or confidentiality obligations;
- resell, copy or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it; or
- use automated means that impose unreasonable load or violate stated limits.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Paidward reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages and product changes may affect access. We may change or discontinue features, and will provide reasonable notice when a material change substantially reduces a paid service where practicable.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Paidward at any time and cancel a paid subscription through Billing. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful activity or unpaid fees. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions intended to survive — including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers and liability limits — remain in effect. Data is handled according to the Privacy Policy and mandatory law.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paidward is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated in these Terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or decisions based on AI output. For paid service claims, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for Paidward during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for intent or gross negligence where applicable.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Norway, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Consumers may also use the complaint and dispute-resolution options available through their national consumer authorities.
13. Contact and changes
Questions, complaints and legal notices may be sent to support@paidward.com. We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required.
